18.7 pounds to go!

164.3—still losing!

With two luncheons (and some heavenly cornbread!) starting the week, I’m surprised I lost the 1.3 pounds I did. There was also some bacon, sweet potatoes… and I only worked out twice. Still, I progressed and am now down to 164.3 :)

Things that are helping me drop the weight:

I’m still depending on the 310 meal replacement shakes. Working around delicious food is turning out to be harder than I thought. I have my 310 Shake for breakfast like always, but I’ve started bringing it to the cafe for lunch as well.

When I get hungry, instead of reaching for bacon or handmade gelato, I drink my shake. I can drink it on the go and I am utterly satisfied. That has been the best way for me to resist the delectable dishes we serve at until I drop all the pounds I need.

I also started working out this week… twice. As a writer, I have no problem sitting at the computer and working for 16 hours straight. Unfortunately, it shows. My workouts are pretty simple at this point. I put in my headphones and dance for 15-30 minutes. I make sure I keep it intense with an Amazon Prime House station and I work up a sweat. Not the most impressive workout, I realize, but it’s a start.

So far I’ve lost 2.3 pounds drinking the 310 Shake for breakfast. Now that I’m bumping it up to two meals replaced a week, and the added workouts I expect to be hitting 160 pounds by September 1.
