Yesterday my computer took an unexpected turn and decided not to turn on. I’ll find out what I can save, if anything, early next week. I may be in shock, but I’m not that upset.
This week I’m celebrating:
1. I have an iPad and a phone so I can keep working.
2. Most of my work, photos and writing, have been put up on this blog or in emails, minimizing actual loss if it occurs.
3. I am a renewable resource, and if everything vanished without a trace I can just create more. I needed to clean out my files anyway.
What are you celebrating?
Today’s post is part of the Celebrate the Small Things Blog Hop hosted by Lexa Cain, L.G. Keltner at Writing Off The Edge and Katie at TheCyborgMom.
Celebrate the Small Things: To be part of this blog hop, all you have to do is put your name on the linky list and then post every Friday about something you’re grateful for that week. It can be about writing or family or school or general life. (Originated by VikLit)

Sweet pet… hope you’re doing well.
I stopped by from Celebrate the small things.
See you soon!
I’m impressed you’re taking it so well since losing computer files is pretty much the worst nightmare imaginable for anyone who works on a computer. But my computer crashed several months ago and I was calm, too. It’s not like ranting, raving or crying is gonna get those files back, right? I hope you DO get all your files back. Crossing my fingers for you!
