Celebrate: Still Here :)

Moffi

Last week I was in shock because my computer died, and I still haven’t been able to get it back up again.

This week I’m celebrating resiliency. With change comes new horizons, often more beautiful than the last.

1. I have been forced to put my talk to the test and have been writing exclusively on my phone/pocket office combination – and I’ve done nearly 6,000 words on it so far. Celebrating moving on in spite of it…

2. To keep my illustrations simple I’ve started a game with myself where I write a story each day inspired by one photo I snapped, and it’s really kicking my creativity into high gear. Celebrating new ideas…

3. This week I had a chance to visit with my cat Moffi who is staying at my old house with a caretaker. It was so good to give her kisses again. I love that cat. Celebrating reconnections…

What are you celebrating?

I’m sorry you’re computer didn’t recover. Good for you for finding other ways to write. You’re one determined woman! Photo prompts are great for encouraging writers. Moffi is adorable! :)

  2. Those are nice things to celebrate. I’m impressed that you can write so many words on your phone. Are you planning to get a new computer?

6000 words on a phone! Oh wow! Hope that gets sorted for you soon :)
I do the one photo and story too. It’s fun. :)
Have a lovely weekend, Angela. (smile)
