Can We Have the Visa Now…? Please…?

The long process of submitting visa paperwork for Mr. Smith is finally finished as of today.  All there is left to do is wait.  An immigration specialist will review our case and decide if my husband can stay in America.  It’s a scary thought to think that the fate of our marriage is in the hands of a faceless bureaucrat.

It is such a relief tho to have it all finally submitted and out of our hands.  We’ve been struggling with visa issues for nearly two years now – first mine in Australia and now Mr. Smith’s here.  I think it will be granted with no problems, but we aren’t planning any celebrations until it’s a done deal.

While it’s all being processed I ask you all to please pray, rub your lucky rabbits feet and whatever else you may do to send blessings and good tidings our way.  It’ll be a waiting game for the next few weeks but very soon I hope to announce that Mr. Smith has his visa and we’re done with it… at least for the next two years.

Crossing fingers and saying prayers…!
